Té por Lizzi

I know you guys have seen Lizzi around in pictures. :)   She went to school with the girls for awhile when we lived in Sabalito and now she lives here (her family actually shares a farm with ours)  Her birthday was this week so I set up a tea party in her honor. :)

I had *planned* to go to town on Monday and get supplies but of course it rained sunday- last night so yeah.. didn’t happen.   But I managed to put enough stuff together for a little party. :)

The girls found the leftover hanukkah candles and plopped one on a brownie.

The birthday girl. :)

Kettle corn – my new favorite food obsession.  Oh how glorious LOL.   I use to not be a fan of popcorn.  However, put me out in the jungle with no access to junk food, fast food, etc.. and I’ve found I have a real weakness for the salty buttery stuff.   Then last week Christopher made THIS.  Oh my goodness.  It’s amazing.    And SO easy.  And since butter cost $1 a stick and i don’t want to waste my homemade stuff often.. this is nice. :) Plus, it’s sugary.. that means it’s good

Sugar cookies and Tuna sandwiches rounded it out. :)   the bread barely got done for lunch but we made it :)
